- The First String Little League team from Champaign, Illinois won its first championship in June. NASA continues to participate in its annual pre-season baseball camps. Congratulations First String.

- Northshore Academy donated equipment to the Miller Little League Cubs team. They finished the season with the most victories in their history.
Also, NASA participated in after season scrimmages with the league to keep the interest level high until fall baseball activities resume.
