Faith Hicks  

Faith graduated from Wirt-Emerson VPA as a national honor student and was a cheerleader at Lew Wallace High School. She was a participant and instructor in many of the NASA All-Sports Camps.  As a Member of the TNT Twister of Highland, Indiana she completed and won many awards in the Trampoline and Double Mini Tumbling events. She received her BS in Chemistry from Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Faith is working on her Doctorate in Pharmacy along with a BS in Pharmaceutical Science at the Daniel K. Inouye of Pharmacy, University of Hawaii at Hilo. Currently, she is in her fourth year of pharmacy school which consists of seven 6 week rotations in different pharmacy settings. She started in Alaska and has just left Thailand where her studies included learning about the healthcare system and research methods in the lab. She is scheduled to graduate May 11, 2019. Larry Crisler  

Prep: Selected in the 35th round of the MLB Entry Draft by the Atlanta Braves…As a senior, hit .541 with 12 home runs, 45 RBI, 38 runs and six triples at Bishop Noll…Two-time All-State honoree…Gary Post-Tribune All-Area Team…MaxPreps Small Schools All-American…2014 RBI, 43 hits, 15 doubles, five triples, 50 runs and 35 stolen bases as a junior…also had a .568 on-base percentage…2013 Underclass Honorable Mention member via Perfect Game…earned two varsity letters in baseball and basketball, earning most valuable player honors in both.

2016-17 at Purdue Northwest: All-CCAC First Team: Led team with a .347 battling average and 50 hits during sophomore season…Tied for the team lead with two home runs…Had 25 RBI and 48 runs scored which led the team…Had a .535 slugging percentage.

Imani Davis  

Highschool
Imani came to Indiana State from Lane Tech High School…Completed on the track team all four years…Honor included All-State for four years in a row. Ms. Davis completed her sophomore year at Indiana State University and continues to improve her running times.

Personal
Born Sept.23, 1997, in Chicago, IL, to Sharon and Glen Davis…Has two siblings, Alex and Sydney Davis…Majoring in Chemistry.

2018
Earned All-MVC honors twice at the MVC Championships by placing third as a member of the 4X400-meter relay team that finished with a time of 3:46.90 and placing third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:11.12…Ran personal-bests in the 400-meter dash (55.97) and 600-meter run (1:32.45) at they Meyo Invite.

2017
All-MVC (4×400 Relay, second; 800-Meters, second)
Earned All-MVC honors in the 800-meter run with a second place finish and a time of 2:10.13…Also earned All-MVC honors as a part of the 4X400-meter relay team that finished second with a team of 3:47.37.

Earned All-MVC honors with a second place finish in the 4X400-meter relay with a time of 3:39.27…Placed fourth in the 800-meter run at the MVC Championships with a personal-best and eighth-best time in school history of 2:09.88.

MVC Scorer (800-Meters, fifth; 4×400-Meter Relay, fifth)
Completed in seven meets for the Sycamores…Placed fifth at the MVC Championship in both the 800-meters (2:15.90) and 4×400-meter relay (3:45.72).

Imani was honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as part of their All-Academic teams.

To be eligible, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and completed at least one of the following two accomplishments during the 2017 season: either finish the indoor season ranked in the top-96 in an individual event (or top-48 in a relay event); or, complete at any round of the NCAA Outdoor Championships (including the East and West preliminary rounds).

Carla Washington  

Alumni Carla L. Washington graduated from Calumet College of St. Joseph with a B.S. degree in Forensic Biotechnology. She was a 4 year letterman on the bowling team.

Thomas Golden, Jr.  

Lettered 3 times at Merrillville High School Track team. Participated in the 55 and 60 meter dashes. Also the 200 meter dash and High Jump.
Has been accepted to Vincennes University.

Raelyn Kuyendall  

Alumni Raelyn Kuykendall completed her senior softball season at (Gary) West Side Leadership Academy as Captain and MVP. She was a National Honor Student and will be attending Indiana State University majoring in psychology.

Melody Jones    

A member of the Top Ranked Thea Bowman Leadership Academy track team. Melody is on the relay teams.
Her team has participated in the De La Salle Institute Indoor Invitational & the Bishop Noll Invitational.

Ariel Marks   

Ariel is a member of the Calumet High School women’s track team. She participated in sprints, long jump and the relay team.

Fredrick McCallum  

Fredrick participated in the Inaugural North vs South Gary Elementary School All-Star Boys basketball game. This game was played at the Dunbar-Pulaski Academic and Career Center. He played on the South squad was led by coach Boris Bowie.

Kelton Perry   

Kelton was selected to the Post-Tribune All-Area baseball team in the honorable mention section. He was the caption of the West Side Leadership Academy while playing 3B and 2B for his team. Kelton was a coach for the NASA’s Summer Sport Camp in 2016. He will be attending Indiana Tech University this fall.
