The Northshore Amateur Sports Academy is dedicated to providing all youth with the highest quality education and team experience through sports participation. Participants are treatead with respect and the opportunity to experience growth in the areas of interacting with others, teamwork, sportsmanship, fair play and skill development. Our goal is to create a positive environment that fosters improved self-confidence and self-esteem through experiences in sports activities. Also, the Northshore Amateur Sports Academy provides training programs for coaches, mentors, and teachers including functioning as a clearinghouse for information on all aspects of sports, education, health and nutrition.
Coaches Clinic

Bringing the Best out of Adolescents Through Training and Empowering Resources
(B.A.T.T.E.R.) UP Leadership Academy
Formerly known as the Groundskeeping Academy, the B.A.T.T.E.R.UP Leadership Academy goal is to provide program participants and their families with resources pertaining to the benefits of a post-secondary education, career planning and how they relate to the NCAA eligibility requirements. Also youth will be provided with contextualized service learning opportunities that teach youth about the importance of being proactive citizens in Lake County Indiana.
