Gary, IN:  THE NORTHSHORE AMATEUR SPORTS ACADEMY was the recipient of a major grant from the ACTS foundation. Northshore was awarded 40 Chromebooks that will be utilized in the Financial Literacy and Responsibility program that is being rolled out at elementary schools in the area. NASA congratulates local partner Rose Joiner, regional club director of the Boys & Girls Club, who was named a 2019 Maytag Dependable Leader. The award recognizes Boys & Girls Clubs staff and volunteers who are committed to making a difference as dependable and exceptional role models.
